Experience the best of ranch life and Temecula Wine Country in one memorable outing. Your tour begins at Saddle Up Ranch in Aguanga, where you’ll meet your horse, enjoy a guided trail ride through beautiful rustic scenery, and then continue on to one of our partner wineries for a relaxed tasting experience.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, visiting with friends, or simply looking for something different to do, our ride-and-wine tours offer a laid-back way to enjoy the outdoors, connect with the horses, and discover local wine country.

The Trail Ride

Meet us at the ranch in Aguanga, CA, where you’ll sign your release form, get fitted for a helmet if needed, and meet your horse before heading out on the trail.

Before the ride begins, we’ll walk you through the basic riding commands so you feel comfortable and confident.

Then you’ll set out through beautiful rustic terrain, with rolling hills, mountain views, and scenery that feels straight out of a Wild West movie. After your ride, Temecula Wine Country is just a short 15-minute drive away.

Wine Tasting Experience

Temecula Wine Country has been named one of the Top Ten Wine Destinations in the World, and it’s easy to see why.

The area is home to award-winning local wineries offering everything from crisp whites and bold reds to rosés, sparkling wines and sweet pours.

We partner with select local wineries, including Leoness Cellars, Robert Renzoni Vineyards and Somerset Winery, giving you a beautiful way to pair your horseback riding experience with wine tasting.

Wine Tasting Experiences

Group Tours

You may be scheduled with 1-2 other parties. We try to keep our groups between 4-6 people unless you have a larger group of people that all know each other. For same party groups of 6 or more, please contact us.

Bronze Package

$115 per person

Enjoy a scenic horseback ride lasting approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, followed by wine tasting at Somerset Winery. This package includes five one-ounce tastings, equal to approximately one full glass of wine.

Silver Package

$165 per person

Enjoy a scenic horseback ride lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes, followed by wine tasting at both Leoness Cellars and Somerset Winery. This package includes six one-ounce tastings at Leoness Cellars and five one-ounce tastings at Somerset Winery — approximately one glass of wine at each location.

Gold Package

$225 per person

Enjoy a scenic 2-hour horseback ride with Saddle Up Ranch, followed by wine tasting at Leoness Cellars, Somerset Winery and Oak Mountain Winery. This package includes six one-ounce tastings at Leoness Cellars, five at Somerset Winery and five at Oak Mountain — approximately one glass of wine at each location.

Private Tours

Every Saddle Up Ranch private tour is reserved exclusively for your party, with a two-guest minimum. Whether you’re joining us as a couple, with friends, family, or a small group, your tour remains private from start to finish. Larger groups are welcome by request.

Platinum Package

$415 per couple

Enjoy a private horseback ride lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, reserved exclusively for your party.

The Mountain Adventure Tour is designed for experienced and confident riders who want a longer, more challenging trail experience.

Enjoy a private 2+ hour horseback ride through scenic mountain terrain, with fun inclines, open trails and the freedom to set the pace.

After your ride, continue your day with wine tasting at Leoness Cellars and Somerset Winery.
